Intention Hewlett Packard (HP) to make the tablets had no doubt about its seriousness. But, the big question, use the operating system whether these tablets?
Previously, HP announced it will use Windows-based tablet 7. Unfortunately, they were made instead to cancel the production. After that, the HP tablet rumored to be using the Android OS.
But according to HP sources, quoted by the All Things Digital, Friday (7/16/2010), the company has officially been set aside his plans to create a new tablet computer is powered by Google’s operating system.
Cancellation of the use of Android-based tablets was inseparable from the desire of HP that will fill all lines of their mobile device with a WebOS. This after they officially acquire Palm some time ago.
Before buying Palm earlier this year, HP said that Android was working on a tablet that should be available this fall. Now however, those plans have been canceled.
This means that officially, the HP tablet will not use the Android OS. With any tablets that pinned WebOS, not to guarantee it will come out soon in the year 2010 this.
