Mozilla has just launched the Fennec 2.0 applications for the Nokia N900 and Android 2.0. Fennec is the codename for Firefox mobile and the application already has the ability to install a browser add-ons and could sync with a desktop version of Firefox.
This new version comes with a built-in support for Firefox Sync (which is little known to the Weave). So, tabs, passwords and bookmarks that you use on the desktop can easily be transferred and synced with your mobile phone.
Fennec also includes support for the ‘pinch-to-zoom’ in Android, ‘location-aware browsing, the ability to store data on the site in PDF format and others.
Like the previous version, Fennec for Mac also has been optimized for Google Nexus One. This application requires 30MB memory space to run.
