“The increased screen iPad 2 focuses on the thickness and anti-reflection, not a resolution. IPad Module 2 shown 30 to 35 percent thinner than the first iPad and very helpful for a better form factor,” Kuo writes.
“With the presence antirefleksi, iPad 2 could have a better experience sunlight to read and very helpful Apple to compete with fast like Amazon Kindle,” he added.
Analysts continue to cite the reasons behind Apple’s decision to stick with the same screen resolution.
“At this point make a high resolution and IPS / FFS panels are not easily made and the volume of production and costs can not meet Apple’s requirements,” he wrote.
In addition, Kuo also mentions the ARM Cortex-A9 processor dual-core processor running at 1.2GHz will be the mainstay of Apple.
“The processor was increased from 1 to 2 percent result in a single processor core clock increase 3 percent to 5 percent. Dual core processors can also better balance between computing power and power consumption,” he added.
iPad 2 also will have a GPU using SGX543 core dual graphics technology. This will make increasing graphics capabilities 200 300 percent beyond what the iPhone 4 can do.
