Toshiba finally launched its mini laptop that comes with two screens. Functions the same as other laptops, it’s just that their operation is assisted by a virtual keyboard.
Mini dual-screen laptop that is named Libretto w100 was armed with a Microsoft operating system Windows 7 and has two LED screens measuring 7 inches each with a touch response capabilities. Toshiba claims the compact size and can be folded making ‘more flexible’.
This laptop is a lot of functions, in addition to browsing the Internet, interact on social networking, sending and receiving email, creating documents.
“One screen can be enabled as the media makes such as word documents or emails, while the other screen can be used to browse the web, social networking or other multimedia programs. All that can be done simultaneously with the two screens are active.
The two screens can be used in a vertical position, thanks to the integrated accelerometer technology. To type letters, the user will be assisted by a virtual keyboard.
Libretto w100 using Intel processors and solid state drives (SSD) 62GB capacity to store applications, documents, movie files, photos or music. In addition, the Libretto is also equipped with wifi and bluetooth wireless connection. Even the Libretto is also available in the 3G version, which allows users to interact in cyberspace through the aid of a cellular network.
In addition w100 Libretto, Toshiba also launched two other laptops, Portege R700 and AC100. If the Portege R700 is a lightweight laptop equipped with screens 13 inches and to anticipate the latest cooling system overheated, AC100 is a laptop with a thickness of 14 millimeters equipped with Google’s Android operating system.
Third Toshiba laptops will be marketed next month. Unfortunately, the company did not specify how much the price for each type of laptop.
